The OC Gunsmith has seen a huge proliferation of inaccurate information in the subject matter spread through internet forums and online video's and has designed these class's to give you the correct information you need to service and utilize your weapon in a SAFE and EFFECTIVE manner. Once you have made the political & philosophical choice to arm yourself in defense or shooting pleasure it is your RESPONSIBILTY to know as much as you can about the tool that may be called upon to defend your life without doing harm to yourself or the unintended.

Ladies, Beginners and the Mechanically Challenged are encouraged to join our class’s.

We understand the mechanical intimidation factor and can provide you specialized training with our no stress learning methods that give you the time to understand your weapon. Our class's are not dry, boring lectures given by camo clad mercenary types but by FUN loving men and women who truly want you to learn and understand your weapon in a great atmosphere.
Our core philosophy is that the more you understand about your weapon the more EFFECTIVE and SAFER it can be utilized when needed.

All class’s are instructed by the gunsmith with help from specialist’s from many disciplines that can provide invaluable insight to each weapons specific issues. You will be given a full history of the weapon platform, design considerations, intended uses and all the factory information you can handle. Our specialists will instruct you as to the TRUE capabilities of your weapon in both stock and enhanced configurations. We also provide basic through advanced cleaning and tune up information for your particular application as well as upgrade parts choice information.
The class’s are held in a luxurious Dana Point Harbor facility overlooking the harbor inlet with food and beverage service available during breaks. We utilize live video projectors to enhance your learning so you can see what an instructor is doing to the sample weapon and the tables are large enough for you to work on your weapon during class.
